Title: Silk Screen Operator
Reports To: Creative Design Director

Position Overview
The silk screen operator will be responsible for performing all of the duties involved in the silk screening process. These duties include, but are not limited to: printing films, exposing and preparing screens, and selecting, setting up and maintaining screens. You will also be required to mix and load inks, clean work areas, troubleshoot technological problems and maintain equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding and execution of quality control procedures
  • Understanding and identification of product defects
  • Understanding job reporting
  • Awareness and practice of all safety precautions
  • Ability to follow controlled procedures for silk screening processes
  • Lifting up to 30lbs
  • Identifying and pulling product from inventory
  • Organization of jobs for printing
  • Previous silk screening experience is a plus

Position Requirements

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and an openness to learning new software and machinery
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, along with a logical and systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas of the job
  • Ability to follow through multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Composure under tight timelines while managing multiple priorities
  • Operates with high integrity, is productive under high pressure and hands-on when needed
  • Works well in both a team environment and as an individual
